We’re here to answer any questions you might have.

E-mail Chris + Paige at seeyou@pizzacamp.org with any Qs or Cs.

  • Q: When is the next Pizza Camp?
    • July 7-8, 2018. Camp will start early in the AM on the 7th and go until noonish on the 8th (it’s a one-night event). Tickets will go on sale 4/20 at NOON and space is limited. Tickets will be available on this website using the secure platform Eventbrite.
  • Q: How much does it cost?
    • Pizza Camp ticket prices change each year depending on what’s included! You can expect ticket prices in the $199 range. This event is all inclusive! We provide everything: Lodging, 3 meals + snacks, beverages, entertainment, swag, and more.  Money is completely unnecessary at Pizza Camp – there is nothing for sale.
  • Q: Can I sponsor Pizza Camp?
    • Let’s talk about it! Pizza Camp is made possible by sponsors and because of this, we think of them more as partnerships.  It takes a village to make Pizza Camp happen and your contribution ideas are always welcome! E-mail us at partners@pizzacamp.org to start the conversation.
  • Q: Do you accept payment plans?
    • We’re open to it! We want to make this accessible to everyone. If you’re concerned about the cost but want to come – start the conversation: seeyou@pizzacamp.org
  • Q: How can I volunteer?
    • We’ll post about volunteer openings on our social media and website if there are any! Otherwise – If you’d like to contribute, pitch us at seeyou@pizzacamp.org. Volunteer space is limited.
  • Q: How do I get to Pizza Camp?
    • Buy a ticket, take the ride! Pizza Camp is located at the Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement in Maple Plain, MN. It’s about a 30-minute drive from MPLS and campers who are concerned about transportation can rent cars, get a ride, ride with a friend, or reach-out on the event page to arrange a carpool.  To navigate: Set your GPS to these coordinates.
  • Q: What should I bring to Pizza Camp?
    • Yourself and a big appetite!
    • Bring your ID for registration (the event is 21+) for sure
    • Otherwise, pack like a standard camping overnight: a change of clothes, your PJs, toiletries like your hair and toothbrush, your bedroll (blankets/sleeping bag/pillow), a water bottle &/or thermos, extra socks/shoes, bug spray, and sunscreen.
Optional: Games, swimsuit, camera, phone, phone charger, alarm clock, camping chair, your favorite pizza topping.
  • Q: What shouldn’t I bring to Pizza Camp?
    • Anything illegal. Don’t bring anything you wouldn’t be able to get into a 21+ concert with (a dog, drugs, weapons, fireworks, etc). If you’re not sure what’s off limits and have a specific question, let us know! E-mail: info@pizzacamp.org
  • Q: What kind of meals/pizza do you have at Pizza Camp?
    • We provide snacks from our sponsor and goodies like chips and fruit to keep your energy up all day long. Lunch is usually a surprise – either pizza or something pizza-centric like pizza burgers (veggie options available). For dinner, we believe in a tri-pizza system of pizza snacks, pizza delivery, and a byopizza bar with a wild amount of options. Campers work with our chefs to fire their own pizzas in our hand-built pizza oven. Breakfast is a continental style breakfast where we put our pizza topping leftovers to good use alongside breakfast classics.  Coffee, beverages, and desserts are also provided by our sponsors like Tiny Footprint Coffee, Glam Doll Donuts, Dairy Queen, and Fulton Beer.
  • Q: How can I prepare for Pizza Camp?
    • Make sure you have your ticket, coordinate your ride, pack according to the packing list, and know how to get to the Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement.  Other than that, you may want to start dreaming up your official pizza name.
  • Q: Can I come to Pizza Camp alone? Who do people go to Pizza Camp with?
    • You can absolutely come to Pizza Camp alone.  Pizza Campers come alone all the time! We also get all kinds of pairs and groups at pizza camp: coworkers, friends, families, and dates.
  • Q: Can you accommodate all diets?
    • Absolutely. While this event is best suited for carnivores and vegetarians (most of the options will cater to these diets), we can also have options for GF, nut-free, dairy-free, and vegan campers.  As part of your registration, you’ll be asked to tell us about your diet and what type of diet you’d like us to accommodate.
  • Q: What age should you be to come to Pizza Camp?
    • Pizza Camp is 21+! This is an adults-only environment that typically has an audience in the 21-40 range but if it appeals to you and you’re older than 21, than this is for you! There is no ideal age for a pizza enthusiast.
  • Q: How did you come up with this wacky idea?
    • In short, we’re artists who love pizza, camping, and community and knew there must be others that would connect over a mutual love of these three things.
    • The rest is history.
  • Q: Are pets allowed at Pizza Camp?
    • Unfortunately, no. Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement is an environmental learning center in the heart of the Baker Park Reserve. In accordance with their rules, we do not allow pets, but there is lots of nature and wildlife within the settlement to observe and enjoy.
  • Q: Is alcohol allowed at Pizza Camp?
    • Beer, wine, ciders, hard lemonades, and other malt-based, single-serving beverages are permitted in glass bottles or cans only. Hard liquor is not allowed. Alcoholic beverages served in kegs, barrels, boxed wine, or bulk containers are prohibited unless authorized by special use permit.
  • Q: Where do we go when we arrive at Pizza Camp?
    • You’ll pull into the settlement and park in the parking lot. Parking is free but there are a limited number of spots, so keep in mind that it’s important to carpool.  After parking, you’ll follow the signs and volunteers to the registration table. Here, using your ID, you’ll finalize your registration and confirm your ticket with Pizza Camp staff who will also direct you to your cabins.

  • Q: What if I bought a Pizza Camp ticket and I can’t make it?
    • There is a return policy built into your Eventbrite registration.  If you confirm before the pre-set date, you’ll be fully refunded.  If it’s after that preset date, we’ll lay out your options for you. If it’s last minute, you can choose to pass your ticket to another camper.  You can contact us at any time with any questions: seeyou@pizzacamp.org
  • Q: Can I buy Pizza Camp merch?
    • We’re working on it! We’re hoping to launch an online store in Spring 2018. Stay tuned.
